More importantly, we don’t have any rights to your data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further clarification.

WOULD I NEED TO INSTALL A PROGRAM ON MY COMPUTER?

No, no installation is required. The DNS settings are done from your router. We can generate a unique IP for DHCP setups.

If you move to another ISP, we can help set up our DNS filters on your new router without any additional costs to you.

IF A WEBSITE IS NOT BLOCKED, WHAT TO DO?

Any site can be added to your blocked list through the management portal for your account. You’re also welcome to report inappropriate content to our support team, so we can make sure your home is protected.

IF I NEED TO STOP USING THE FILTERS?

To stop TRAAFIC filtering, in your router remove our DNS settings. Your network settings will be automatically be restored to the initial settings.

HOW DO I REMOVE A BLOCK ON A FAVOURITE SITE?

On your account, change the filtering rules through your dashboard to unblock your favourite website.

SOME WEBSITES ON THE ALLOWED CATEGORY ARE BLOCKED.

This could be related to an error with the static IP created in place of your dynamic IP address.

We can help check set the correct IP address for you so that there is no misconfiguration in your settings.

I NEED TO REPORT A HARMFUL WEBSITE OR AN INCORRECT CATEGORISATION.

You can contact our support team to report a harmful website or an incorrect categorisation.

CAN I SET THIS UP MYSELF ON MY ROUTER?
Yes, we have sets of instructions that can help you do this yourself on your router. You can use this guide to help you setup if you have a dynamic IP address.

On your router in the network settings you can setup our DNS server addresses and put in the public static IP address we provide in order for the filters to work properly.

Home routers uses public dynamic IP address, but on the router, there is a DynDNS-compatible client (all DD-WRT/OpenWRT based routers have it), you can follow this guide to help you set this up yourself.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE DIFFERENT FILTERING RULES FOR SOME DEVICES ON MY HOME NETWORK?

Yes we can. However, for this to work, you will need to install an application on your computer that is if you are using a window OS. The application can then specify a filtering profile specific to a set of devices on the local network.

FILTERING DOES WORK BUT FROM TIME TO TIME.

Such a situation can be resolved by doing following:

  • Please remove all additional DNS servers from the network settings on your router.
  • Please disable automatic obtaining of DNS server addresses in the network settings on your router.
  • You have entered your external IP address in our dashboard as a static address, while it is dynamic. In this case, our system will not be able to identify your computer/router when the next change of the dynamic address occurs. To solve the problem please enter your external address as a dynamic DNS hostname following our instructions.
